Vehicle Description
1 OWNER, ONLY 368 MILES, LIKE NEW!
The 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 S represents a radical departure from its predecessor. Ducati completely redesigned the machine, trading outright peak horsepower for massive weight savings, vastly improved everyday ergonomics, and a more approachable street-and-track character.
The V2 S carries a base MSRP of $20,495 in the United States (or £16,995 in the UK) and is offered in signature Ducati Red and Ducati Yellow.
Core Specifications & The New Engine
The biggest talking point of the 2025 model is its all-new 890 cc 90° V-twin engine. Ducati has retired the famous Desmodromic valves on this model, moving instead to a traditional valve spring setup utilizing Intake Variable Timing (IVT).
• Performance: It delivers 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 69 lb-ft of torque at 8,250 rpm. While this is a drop of 35 horsepower compared to the outgoing 955cc Superquadro motor, the engine itself is 20 lbs lighter, making it the lightest V2 engine Ducati has built in the modern era.
• Weight Reduction: The weight loss doesn’t stop at the engine. Thanks to a highly compact aluminum monocoque frame, the bike sheds a massive 37 pounds over the previous model. The V2 S registers a wet weight of just 388 lbs without fuel (roughly 407 lbs with a full tank).
What Makes the "S" Variant Different?
Priced $3,000 above the standard Panigale V2, the V2 S introduces several high-performance upgrades directly from the factory:
Feature Standard Panigale V2 Panigale V2 S
Suspension Marzocchi front fork & KYB rear shock Premium, fully adjustable Öhlins NIX30 fork & TTX36 rear shock
Battery Standard lead-acid Lightweight Lithium-ion battery
Electronics Extras Standard rider aids Adds Ducati Power Launch & Pit Limiter
Wheels Cast aluminum Lighter aluminum wheels for less rotating mass
Seating Default Two-seat setup with passenger pegs Monoposto (single-seat) configuration
Ergonomics & Ride Character
Ducati intentionally softened the punishing, aggressive stance of the older model to create a much friendlier sports bike. The seat height is 33 inches (837 mm), but the clip-on handlebars are set higher and mount flush with the top triple clamp. Combined with lower footpegs, it mimics the relaxed arm position of a naked bike while maintaining full fairing aerodynamics.
The electronics package is heavily inspired by the flagship Panigale V4, managed through a new 5-inch TFT dashboard. It offers four distinct riding modes (Race, Sport, Road, Wet), lean-angle sensitive Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, and the highly precise Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0, which swaps traditional micro-switches for a mechanical sensor directly on the gear drum.
Braking power is elite, pairing Brembo M50 calipers with 320mm rotors to yield track-ready stopping power. Heat management is also heavily improved; though it still kicks off some heat on the rear right side of the seat at prolonged stops, it is substantially more comfortable to ride through city streets than previous Panigale generations.
